Dr. Winston has been an occupational therapist for over 35 years with a primary clinical focus in 儿科.  She has specialized in working with children birth to five years of age and their families particularly those children and families who are dealing with concerns related to feeding and eating. Dr. Winston also has experience working with children and adults experiencing concerns related to neurologic diagnoses such as cerebral palsy and stroke.  Dr. Winston has worked in an academic setting for the past 20 years teaching coursework on occupational analysis, 理论, 儿科, 和领导能力.

Dr. Winston is active at the local and national level in the Maine Occupational Therapy Association, The American Occupational Therapy Association, and the Society for the Study of Occupation. 

I also serve as a mentor to students in the Master of 科学 in Occupational Therapy Program who are applying to the Center to Advance Interprofessional 教育 and Practice (CAIPE) for the Interprofessional Honors Distinction. The distinction recognizes students’ interprofessional activity and learning while at UNE and is a nationally recognized micro credential.
